The documentary Muzaffer tells the life struggle of a man living alone in an abandoned village. Uncle Muzaffer refuses to leave the land of his birth and continues to live by preserving the traces and memories of the past. The documentary dramatizes a man’s devotion to his roots and his struggle to survive under difficult circumstances. Muzaffer’s story presents the loneliness of an abandoned village and man’s stubborn relationship with nature from a universal perspective.

Yönetmen – Ömer Faruk Çetin
I was born on 01.01.1995 in Tavşanlı district of Kütahya. During high school years, I started to improve myself in the fields of directing, cinematography and editing. In 2017, I entered the short film competition organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and won the second prize with the short film “Mansur”. In August 2017, I was entitled to participate in the Cinema Camp organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and at the end of the camp, I received the Special Jury Award and the Future Filmmaker Award with the short film “Unchanging Stage”. In 2018, I managed to win first place in the Jerusalem Short Film Competition with my short film “The Flower of Palestine”. For the last 4 years, I have been working in the TV and cinema industry in the reji team.
