The documentary Girls of Baft was created over a span of two years with a focus on the challenges faced by girls and women in Iran’s patriarchal society. It sheds light on the determination and resilience of these individuals as they strive for their rights despite many obstacles imposed by the government. The women featured in the film displayed immense courage by bravely removing their hijabs despite the restrictions in place.
